Avery Dennison Showcases Car Wrapping Film Portfolio and Application Techniques at 2013 SEMA Show

Mentor, Ohio, November 4, 2013 – Avery Dennison today announced that its wide selection of color change wrap films, the Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio, will be featured in Booth 12255 at the SEMA Show 2013, November 5 – 8, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, vehicle wrap application techniques will be demonstrated several times each day and the winner of the “Wrap Like a King” Challenge will be honored during the SEMA Show.

“The Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio offers the broadest selection of color change wrap films, with more than 50 colors in pearlescent, metallic, matte and gloss finishes, for the restyler and car customization industry,” said Meghan, channel marketing manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “Our experts, Paul Roba and Justin Pate, will demonstrate proper color change wrap installation techniques for the restyling community throughout the show.”

Pate, a globally recognized graphic installer, and Roba, North America technical manager at Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions, will lead vehicle wrap demonstrations on a Twin Turbo Ford Mustang GT with Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films, including the Conform Chrome Accent Wrapping Films. Adding to the current portfolio of 51 colors, a preview of 22 new Supreme Wrapping Film colors will be shown in Booth 12255.

The car wrap demonstrations in the Avery Dennison Booth 12255 will be held on Tuesday, November 5, Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and on Friday, November 8 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Arthur Hakobyan, from Diamond Black Exteriors, won the grand prize in the “Wrap Like a King” Challenge featuring Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films. Hakobyan will be presented with a trophy in the Avery Dennison booth on Wednesday, November 6 at 1 p.m. and he will be recognized in the West Coast Customs Booth 11293 on Thursday, November 7. His entry in the Challenge, “Brand New Mercedes Benz SLS63 AMG Wrapped by DBX in Ultra Matte Red Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film,” is featured in a video in the Avery Dennison booth.

Nolan Beck, a third-year graphic design student at the Cleveland Institute of Art, designed the graphics for the Twin Turbo Ford Mustang GT featured in the Avery Dennison booth. The wrap was digitally printed on MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and installed by Pate for the show opening.
