Avery Dennison Recognizes Ten 2014 Wrap Projects

(Mentor, Ohio) January 27, 2015 — Avery Dennison today recognized ten wrap projects installed with its vinyl graphics and digital films in 2014. The projects range in size and diversity from fashion, to elite cars and a kitchen, showcasing the versatility and conformability of Avery Dennison’s digital graphics solutions and opaque films.

“Vinyl wrap installers and sign shops are taking the art of wrapping to a new level of customization for consumers, that includes shoes, microwaves, prosthetics and to very small items like car key fobs,” said Bill Podojil, director of graphics sales at Avery Dennison. “With the conformability, color choices and digital printing capabilities of Avery Dennison graphic films, the sky is the limit for what can be wrapped.”

To showcase the breadth and depth of digital graphics solutions that were created in 2014, Avery Dennison is recognizing the following ten projects:

GeckoWraps, in Las Vegas, used more than 1,000 square feet of MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ to create each patriotic wrap for several 35 ton Kobelco excavators at the 2014 CON EXPO.

Car key fobs can easily match a vehicle wrap. Unlimited Wraps used Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films in this example. JM Custom Creations made this leg prosthesis more fashionable with Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome Gold and Supreme Wrapping Film in Black Carbon Fiber.

Custom vehicle wraps are rising in popularity with more color and finish options while digitally printed wraps can also showcase dynamic color combinations.

Artist Ryan McGinness and master installer Justin Pate collaborated on these wraps for an exhibit at a gallery in the Netherlands.
