Avery Dennison Debuts Cut Vinyl Film Portfolio to Excited Crowd at ISA Sign Expo

Booth #3623 at ISA Sign Expo played host to some of the top sign and wrap shop products that Avery Dennison has to offer. MPI 1105 Supercast Film and the MPI 1405 Film Series were displayed prominently in live car and wall wrap demonstrations by Carbon Wraps, while the launch of the new Cut Vinyl Film Portfolio drew plenty of attention.

Avery Dennison Cut Vinyl Film is re-engineered for industry-leading weeding performance and a longer shelf life, which sign shop owners and ISA attendees appreciated. With over 100 colors, the film portfolio can sit for three days before weeding, creating less waste and protecting shops’ profitability. It also takes longer to degrade, so stock can be kept on hand for a longer period of time. Visitors to the booth enjoyed flipping through the new cut vinyl swatchbooks, an offering that is unique to Avery Dennison.

In addition to the Cut Vinyl Film Portfolio, Steve and Jen Carney of Carbon Wraps showed off the transformation of a car and a wall using MPI 1105 and MPI 1405 respectively. MPI 1105 creates bold digitally printed graphics for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. MPI 1405, a non-PVC, digitally printable film, is GREENGUARD certified for low VOC emissions and can be applied to vehicles or tough textured surfaces. Attendees got to see the range of designs that are possible with MPI 1105, and they were impressed with the ability of MPI 1405 to hold tight on a brick wall.

On the last day of the expo, Carbon Wraps worked with artist Kurt Meister to bring his serigraph art to life in a car wrap digitally printed with MPI 1105. Meister was on hand to see the wrap in person and sign it in the Avery Dennison booth.
