Meet the competitors

Avery Dennison will sponsor five competitors in all three tint-off divisions at the 2019 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ held in Indianapolis, IN September 4-6. 

Sponsorships were awarded to some of our top customers for window film products. Learn more about who they are below.

Geoffrey Whightsil

Geoffrey Whightsil, project manager at Sun Out Window Tinting will compete in the Architectural Tint-Off™ division for a first place prize of $10,000. Geoff says he looks forward to competing against the best in the industry, and to test and push himself to be better. A fun fact about Geoff is that he taught myself to sew.

John Scott

John Scott, owner of Scott Solar Control Window Tinting, will be competing in all three divisions this year: Architectural Tint-Off™, Automotive Tint-Off™ and Paint Protection Film. John looks forward to meeting and competing with all of the wonderful people in the industry. A fun fact about John is that he loves cooking breakfast for his family on the weekends!

Patrick Burke

Patrick Burke is a lead installer and manager at Burke & Associates and Arizona Glass Coating. He has been in the industry for 42 years and has never competed in a professional tint off. He is excited to be a part of the Architectural Tint-Off™ division to test his skills alongside other industry professionals. Patrick says he is a desert person and heavily involved in offroading a 62 Willys Jeep that he customized called “The Heep.” 

Rachel Schabroni

Rachel Schabroni is an installer at Solar Solutions Inc. and will be competing for the first time in the Automotive Tint-Off™. She is excited to compete because she’s never done anything like it before and wants to test her skills and see where she stands against others. Rachel just learned how to drive a manual at 26 years old!

 

Curtis Farris (not pictured) of A Touch of Tint will compete in both the Automotive Tint-Off™ and the Paint Protection Film division.
