New Products and Exciting Demos Captivated SEMA 2018

Starting with the release of new products, Avery Dennison kept the energy going all week long in its booth at SEMA 2018.

The headline of the new product introductions was a self-healing paint protection film, Supreme Protection Film XI (SPF-XI). This film can improve and protect a vehicle’s appearance, while helping to retain its resale value. SPF-XI is a high quality, top coated polyurethane film that protects vehicle paint from stone chips, road debris, insect stains, weathering and minor abrasions - without degrading the original paint finish. Its “self-healing” top coat helps absorb the impact from scratches and debris, returning the film to its original state. The film is easy to apply and ultra-clear for a beautiful aesthetic.

Avery Dennison also launched five new colors of Supreme Wrapping™ Film. Curated from automotive trend research with input from a network of wrap installers, the Fall 2018 Collection makes a statement with the striking color and finish combinations below.

Justin Pate, John Duever, Chad Parrish and John Scott were on hand to lead mic’d up vehicle and automotive window wrap demos, and an all-female team of Jen Carney (Carbon Wraps), Kinsey Sharp (Sharp Wraps OKC), Kathy Alexander (Incognito Wraps), Cindy Richards (Avery Dennison), Brittney Banks (All City Wraps), Kystal Miszewski (Candy Wraps), Paige Walton (S6 Wraps), Starla Miller (Miller Decals), and Tasha Marohn (TM Motorsports Imaging), crushed a 2018 Chevy Camaro wrap. NR, NR Pro and NR Nano Ceramic Automotive Window Films rounded out the products for the automotive restyling market that were featured in the booth.

Day 2 of SEMA brought back an Avery Dennison tradition with the finale of the “Wrap Like A King” Challenge, the announcement of the "King of the Wrap World." This year, MetroWrapz of Hollywood, Florida claimed the title with its entry Mission Flyer 2.0. 2018 is the first time in three years that the winner was a North American.

Car builders and wrap installers from booths across the show got in on the fun, too. There were plenty of Conform Chrome and Supreme Wrapping Film projects across the show floor, including:
