Avery Dennison Champions Inclusion at Asia DEI Summit

Avery Dennison played a key role in the success of the recent Asia DEI Summit in Singapore, held on November 7th, 2024. Titled “Breaking Barriers:  Advancing Inclusion in Singapore and Beyond”, 30 speakers discussed a wide range of topics from social mobility, neurodiversity in the workplace, to inclusive benefits in talent attraction and retention. 

The summit featured a range of inclusive elements, including wheelchair-accessible paths made possible with Avery Dennison floor markers and wayfinding solutions. This innovative solution helped ensure that all participants could navigate the event easily and comfortably.

The summit also had sign interpreters, mother’s room, prayer’s room, quiet room to ensure it caters to diverse needs of participants, setting a benchmark for future inclusive events.

In addition to our product contributions, Avery Dennison representatives actively participated in the summit, with Tiffany moderating the highly anticipated Chief Diversity Officer panel featuring top global DE&I leaders from Shell, Blackrock and Will & Case. 

Our Community Partners, Oogachaga, We Are Hear and Special Olympics, were also invited by Avery Dennison to participate in the DEI Summit and were among the 10 NGOs who set up booths at the NGO zone to share how they advanced inclusion in the community.

The Asia DEI Summit was a resounding success, bringing together 200 attendees from 100 companies and 10 countries. Social media impressions of the event is at 50,000 and counting. 

Avery Dennison's involvement in this event underscores our dedication to fostering a more inclusive world, both within our company and in the broader community.
