Making Waves for Mental Health: Avery Dennison Rises to the Challenge!

On March 22, 2025, the Avery Dennison Graphics Solution ANZ team plunged into action, uniting for the Head Above Water 24-Hour Swimathon to champion mental fitness and suicide prevention. This team of 12 swam nonstop for 24 hours at Sydney’s northern beaches, with teammates in Melbourne and Auckland joining simultaneously.

Together, we completed 57.4 kilometres of continuous swimming, raising over $10,000 (and counting!) for Head Above Water as a team. Despite pouring rain in the middle of the night, the team never stopped their laps.

“This event means everything,” shared by Tom Leggatt, Commercial Manager of Graphics Solutions, ANZ. “To see my colleagues dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to such a vital cause is beyond what we imagined. We’re grateful to every supporter who’s helped us make waves.”

A heartfelt thank you to all who contributed. Your generosity proves that collective action creates ripples of change. Your courage inspires us. Here’s to swimming stronger for mental health in 2025.
