The Avery Dennison® Integrated Component System (ICS) Performance Guarantee now includes Roland’s SOLJET® Pro 4 XF-640 and award-winning eco-solvent ink, Eco-Sol MAX® 2, when printed on Avery Dennison digital media films.
The Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions technical team performed extensive durability testing of Avery Dennison digital media products printed with the XF-640 and Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks. Avery Dennison will provide up to a seven-year guarantee for graphics printed with its top-of-the-range MPI 1005 Supercast series and Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks on the XF-640.
“The Avery Dennison ICS Performance Guarantee combines our films with qualified inks and printers to form a system that is guaranteed to be compatible and provide outstanding performance to graphics print providers,” stated Paul Roba, North America technical manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “The Avery Dennison ICS Performance Guarantee of SOLJET Pro 4 XF-640 and Eco-Sol MAX 2 builds on our existing warranties of many Roland printer and ink combinations."
The XF-640, Roland’s fastest large-format printer, provides exceptional image quality and is ideal for the production of large volumes. According to Roland, printing with Roland’s environmentally friendly, GREENGUARD Certified Eco-Sol MAX 2 ink produces rich, vibrant colors that are durable, scratch resistant and virtually odorless.
“We’re excited to offer consumers additional peace of mind when using Avery Dennison and Roland products,” said Julie Gederos, Roland DGA’s market development manager. “This warranty demonstrates commitment on the part of both companies to provide large-format customers with high quality products they can trust.”
Graphics produced on Avery Dennison digital media products printed with the Roland XF-640 are high resolution and offer outdoor and indoor application versatility for vehicle wraps and fleet marking, promotional and architectural graphics.
Avery Dennison® MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ film is popular with fleet graphics and vehicle wraps installers. Easy Apply RS adhesive technology reduces wrinkling and air entrapment inherent in the application of wraps. The RS feature also provides repositionability and slideability for exact positioning.
